welcome to six8eight6′s brand spankin’ new blog!
as briefly explained in here, six8eight6 is a creative explosion and experimentation; a brainchild born one lazy parisian sunday.
i have always been fascinated with visual imagery. it has always captivated and stuck with me more than words. even the words and text that get me are transformed into images in my mind, and thus began my interest in the arts. about 10 years ago, the moment i held my very first SLR camera, i knew i would be taking photographs all my life.
since then, photography has been an essential part of my life. i never really thought about photography as a living, although i am not shooting down that possibility. photography for me is a passion. it is something fun, personal and it is a comfort. i am finally devoting extra time to explore and enjoy this more.
i am not a photographer per se, but rather, an artist of some sort. it is said that “a picture is worth a thousand words”; through my photographs, i would like to communicate, create, and express art and life beyond words – in the way only photographs can.
six8eight6 is kind of an ambigram, like a reflection of each other. in this sense, it is a reflection of a world, a perception of a truth seen through my eyes and through pierre’s lenses.
